Well-designed, nicely decorated rooms. Friendly reception staff. City center location, close to bars and restaurants. Balcony and great view on top floor. Lovely and helpful woman in charge. Plenty of nearby food and drink options. Traditional Portuguese living experience. Clean and spacious rooms with renovated private bathrooms. Spotlessly clean and functional with elderly couple. No noise issues.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming guest house in the heart of town. The traditional atmosphere made me feel like I was truly experiencing Portuguese culture. The room was clean and the shower provided hot water all day. The staff, while not English-speaking, were friendly and welcoming. Despite the noise from the nearby pubs, I found the location to be perfect for exploring the beautiful city of Porto. I highly recommend A Portuguesa Guest House for a unique and enjoyable stay.

The lady who runs the place was really friendly and helpful, even though she didn't speak English. the location was great, close to all the tourist attractions and with plenty of bars and cafes around. Plus, the bathroom in our room was recently renovated and looked really nice.
the room was quite stuffy and had a strong smell of mold.

A Portuguesa Guest House in Porto was a delightful experience. The location was amazing, with a pleasant view from the small balcony in our room. The room itself was clean, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom. The owner, a lovely Portuguese woman, added a touch of old-fashioned charm to the place. The receptionist was also very nice and kind, providing excellent service.
Can't think of anything.

This hotel really captures the essence of old Porto with its charming decor and traditional feel. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to provide parking information and suggestions for things to do in the area. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and kept very clean. I especially loved the wooden window blinds, which added a nice touch to the ambiance. The location couldn't be better, right in the center of all the great dining, bars, and shopping.
All in all, everything was perfect.
